Our company, JUHO TOUGEI (寿鳳人形の東芸), was founded in 1966 by our former president, Osamu Harada.
Since its establishment, JUHO TOUGEI has been dedicated to the creation of traditional Japanese dolls, with a particular focus on kimekomi dolls. Over time, our work has expanded beyond individual pieces to include refined seasonal doll displays that reflect the spirit of Japanese cultural traditions.
Today, we are not only a specialized doll retailer, but also a provider of curated seasonal displays, offering finished presentations suited for homes, public spaces, and cultural settings.
While we began online sales in 2002 and continue to operate independently, our emphasis has always remained on craftsmanship, balance, and thoughtful presentation rather than mass production.
For our international customers, we operate multilingual websites and have accumulated extensive experience in overseas sales.
The trust and support of customers in Japan and abroad form the foundation of our work.
Though we are a small organization, we value the attentiveness and flexibility that only a dedicated team can provide, while continuing to preserve and reinterpret the traditions of Japanese doll craftsmanship.
