About Juho Tougei
Juho Tougei (寿鳳人形の東芸) is a Japanese specialty store offering traditional dolls, seasonal displays, and decorative arts for customers in Japan and around the world.
Greetings
Juho Tougei was founded in 1966 by Osamu Harada. Since then, we have worked with traditional Japanese dolls, with particular experience in kimekomi dolls and seasonal displays.
Our collection includes Hina dolls, Gogatsu dolls, carp streamers, Hagoita, Hamayumi, kimekomi dolls and materials, doll cases, hanging scrolls, and other items connected with Japan’s seasonal celebrations.
In addition to offering individual products, we carefully coordinate dolls, display platforms, folding screens, decorative accessories, and cases to create balanced presentations suited to contemporary homes and cultural spaces.
We began online sales in 2002 and have since served customers both within Japan and overseas. Our Japanese and English online stores introduce Japanese seasonal traditions in a way that is accessible to customers around the world.
For international orders, we consider the size and characteristics of each item, the destination country, available shipping methods, and relevant import requirements. Because many of our products are delicate, we also place particular importance on secure packaging for overseas delivery.
Rather than pursuing mass production, we value craftsmanship, thoughtful selection, balanced presentation, and the attentive service that a small specialist team can provide.
