Fig.1: The arrow shows the fabric direction.Fig.2: First divide the fabric into 4 equal parts along this direction.Fig.3: Preparing for folding.Fig.4: Apply glue lightly and fold twice until about 5mm wide. Do not use too much glue. Trim off the extra fabric.Fig.5: Make four identical strips.Fig.6: Fold one strip in the center to make the ribbon part. Trim off excess fabric. Adjust the folding width to match the belt balance.Fig.7: From the remaining 3 strips, cut one in half and another into one-third (the unused two-thirds can be discarded). Leave the last strip as is.Fig.8: Wrap the ribbon part with the one-third strip and secure with glue. Be sure the neat side is facing outward.Fig.9: The ribbon part is now complete.Fig.10–11: Attach the half-length strip step by step onto the long strip.Fig.12: Trim the legs of the half strip to a suitable length and secure the edges with glue to prevent fraying.Finished: Finally attach the ribbon (butterfly knot). Once it dries, the Shigoki belt is complete.
