Part A, where the cord is folded in half, is the center. Tie it at a suitable position, checking the balance of the sword.

This is a close-up of Figure 1. One wrap is fine, but two wraps make it look more elegant.

After passing the sword through the hand, tie the other side the same way.
Cross both side cords with the horizontal cord B and tie a square knot. Be careful not to make a vertical knot.
