Part A, where the cord is folded in half, is the center. Tie it at a suitable position, checking the balance of the sword.

After passing the sword through the hand, tie the other side the same way.
Cross both side cords with the horizontal cord B and tie a square knot. Be careful not to make a vertical knot.
