Lord

  • Numbers ① to ⑦ refer to the fabric numbers. The bottom fabric will be the fabric for the hakama.
  • The arrows indicate the direction of the fabric when applying it.
  • There are many types of fabric to be applied, so please be careful not to make mistakes in applying them.
  • First, please make sure to do the corrections neatly. The final result will be determined by the initial corrections. If you apply the fabric in a condition like Figure 1, the finish will also be like this. Please correct it properly like in Figure 2.
  • Please make sure to distinguish between the hands of the Lord and the Princess. The rounded finger is the Lord's right hand.
  • For the small prop, the eboshi can be attached each time you display it, but I think it would be better to attach it with glue in advance.
  • The way to attach the eboshi is to first attach the cord to it, then apply glue to the Lord's hairstyle. After making a bow at the neck, apply a small amount of glue in the shadow of the knot so it is not visible from the front. For the tying method of the cord, refer to here.

Princess (in case of Karayo)

  • Numbers ① to ⑨ refer to the fabric numbers. The bottom fabric will be the fabric for the hakama.
  • The arrows indicate the direction of the fabric when applying it.
  • The points of caution are almost the same as the Lord’s.
  • The Princess shown in the sample photo is quite elaborately made. Points will be noted below for reference.

Princess (in case of Kiseri)

Kimekomi Hina Doll Materials

The finishing of this kiseri is not recommended for beginners. Please first carve down A and B so that there are no protrusions. Since the kiseri will have layers of fabric, carve down 2-3 mm. In this case, the small waist will be attached separately. B will be an extension of the hakama. Please carve down to adjust the height of the hakama. After carving A and B, please create a groove between A and B. This is where the fabric for the hakama and the outer garment will be switched. A will be finished with kiseri. The sample photo also has the sleeve openings finished in a kiseri style. If you don’t have much experience but wish for a kiseri finish like the sample, please see here. (Additional costs will apply.)
