Tsurushi Bina- Hanging hina dolls

Tsurushi Kazari is Hanging Hina-dolls that decorated from the Edo era in Japanse some areas. Yanagawa region in Fukuoka prefecture. It is called "Sagemon", Inatori region in Shizuoka. it is called "Hina-no-tsurushi-kazari" , and Shonai region in Yamagata. It is called "Kasafuku", they are famous for an opening area of the decoration. They usued to use unsew the kimono, or scraps of a rest of kimono as the material, and having handcrafted Tsurushi Kazari. The charactors have good meanings on each. How to make the decorations and the styles are different from each area, but the mind of people who created is the same. They are intended to pray for the success, happiness and healthy growth of the next generation.
