Takeuchi Seihō (1864–1942) was a painter who contributed greatly to the innovation of Japanese painting. He combined traditional techniques with Western realism, and was known as a master of animal painting. His representative works include "Striped Cat," and he was awarded the Order of Culture in 1937.

This work combines Seihō's distinctive realism and poetic sentiment. The fluffy fur of the rabbits and their gentle, adorable expressions are carefully drawn, conveying the preciousness of life living quietly in nature. The background is modest, highlighting the rabbits' presence and giving the entire painting a sense of tranquility and warmth. This is a masterpiece that incorporates the shadow expression of Western painting while taking advantage of the white space and beautiful lines of Japanese painting.
High-definition art painting (hand-colored complementary colors)
The work is printed on a Shin-ken-bon (High quality printing paper) using cutting-edge giclee printing techniques adopted by famous art museums around the world to produce replicas, and the final finish is hand-colored with complementary colors to create a realistic look. It is weather-resistant and not easily decomposed by light or ozone in the air, so the color tone is less likely to change over time and the beauty will not change.
