• The numbers ① to ② correspond to the fabric numbers. Additionally, this doll comes with tabi, a white crepe for the neck, bottom crepe, footwear, inner kimono, obi-age, and a string for the obi-dome.
• The arrows indicate the direction of the fabric when attaching it.
• When inserting the obi normally, wrinkles tend to form at part A. By cutting a groove at B and making slits, wrinkles will not form.
• Part C is also a place where wrinkles are likely to form. To avoid wrinkles, gradually gather the fabric from under the sleeve to the sleeve openings. (Note)
• Please make a groove where the toes will be at the tabi area. Adding gold thread will make it look more like traditional sandals.
• The example obi-age in the photo is made by wrapping and bunching a three-fold piece of fabric in the same way. It's simple, so please give it a try.
• (Note) Gathering means to fold the fabric just to the point of wrinkling without pulling it. This method is used for rounded areas.
